Welcome to Plateau State Diaspora Development Association (PSDDA), pronounced “PAZZ-DUH” for short.
We are a collective of Plateau State citizens and diasporans who have come together for one sole purpose; to improve the socio-economic structure of our beloved Plateau State, Nigeria. We do this through partnerships with individual entrepreneurs, local small business, and large institutions.
Good day my fellow citizens and empathetic patrons of Plateau State. I want to welcome you to Plateau State Diaspora Development Association (PSDDA). At PSDDA, we feel that there is an intrinsic duty imbued upon those in diaspora to bring our resources, experiences, and knowledge together to make Plateau the former beacon of Nigerian society it once was. And it was on that premise that we were formed. PSDDA is a collective of impassioned diaspora who have come together for one purpose; to see quantifiable change take place on the Plateau, for the betterment of the state and we do this through servanthood, partnerships, and a litany of projects brought forth and carried out by our members.
With the lack of unification and congruence in diaspora‐based associations across the globe, there is a serious void for a brass tacks organization that’s about doing the work; working in unison to enact the necessary change and empowerment needed in Plateau State. PSDDA is here to do the work and we have not lost a second’s time doing so. It is this work and our actions alone that will speak for themselves in the weeks, months, and years to come. PSDDA will be a household name on the Plateau.
In just a few short months PSDDA has been able to make tremendous headways and strides as an organization. I invite you to peruse our website to learn about all the fascinating things we’ve done to date. One of the things I am excited about is that we have been able to set up the necessary legal structure needed; equipped with proper checks and balances, for the organization to thrive and to be the crown jewel of the Plateau.
In Plateau State Diaspora Development Association, every single person has a voice and that voice is coveted and valued. We are an organization of the people and for the people of Plateau. We will NEVER… EVER be an organization catering only to the few and we will make sure our mandates assure that this is always the case.
We invite you to come help us build something that not only you yourself will be proud of, but your children and your children’s children as well. With One Mindset, One Voice, One Heart we can truly build a unified One Plateau!
